By creating teams in crystal, you can assign groups of users to manage brands in the platform. Teams can be composed of admins, editors, viewers, and clients, depending on which permissions and data you want them to view and perform in crystal.
Multiple teams can work on the same brand, and vice-versa, teams can work on multiple brands. Want to create teams in crystal? Go Only Premium.
Press your profile item in the top right corner, then press the View Teams item from the dropdown menu. The Teams page is divided into two tabs: Your Teams and Other Teams.
Creating a Team
As the account owner or admin, you can build and edit teams to manage your various brands in crystal. Press the plus icon to create a team. Give your team a name, then press Next.
Insert the email address of the new team member, then select his or her role from the dropdown menu. Refer to the graph of role permissions at the end of this article to see which role best suits each team member. Press Invite when finished.
The new team member will receive an email and should use the link in said email to confirm his or her place on your team. Until then, you will see the team member’s status as Waiting to Accept. Once you’ve finished creating your team, press Done.
Managing a Team
You can edit a team at any time by accessing the main Teams page in your platform, then pressing the arrow icon in the team’s section. Press the Edit Team button in the bottom right corner to edit the team. You can add new team members, send another invitation to members that are still waiting to accept the invitation, or remove team members.
To delete an entire team, press the Delete button in the top right corner.
To assign a brand to a team, press the arrow icon in the team’s section, then find the Associated Brands section. Any brands already associated to the team will appear below. Press the Add/Remove button to add or remove brands from the team.
Press the brands to select them, which will associate them to the team. Any brands already associated with the team can be unlinked by pressing the brand again, thus no longer highlighting it. When finished, press Save.
You can also create a new brand on the fly when managing your team by pressing the Create New button. Refer to this article to learn more about creating and managing brands.
Viewing Other Teams
Owners or admins of other crystal accounts may invite you to be a member of one of their teams. When invited, you will receive an email. Press the Accept Invitation button in that email to join the team.
To view teams of which you’re a member, access the main Teams page, then move to the Other Teams tab. Each team will have its own section. Press the arrow icon in the team’s section to view the team’s details, such as other members and which role you’ve been assigned.
To leave a team, hover your mouse over your profile information in the team’s section until the Leave button appears. Press the Leave button. The team will no longer appear on this page.
